XI. RULES OF PLAY & CONTEST INTEGRITY POLICY
1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE
This Rules of Play & Contest Integrity Policy (“Policy”) governs how Contests are configured, played, verified, and enforced on the Vamble Platform. This Policy applies to all participants, all Contests, and all Stake-funded participation. This Policy is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service and User Agreement (“Terms”).
2. RULE HIERARCHY AND CONFLICTS
Each Contest is governed by: (a) the Terms (including the Wallet & Funds Terms and Incentives Terms), (b) this Policy, (c) the applicable game publisher/platform rules and terms, and (d) any Contest-specific rules displayed to and accepted by the participants at the time a Contest is accepted.
If there is a conflict, the order of precedence is: (1) the Terms, (2) Contest-specific rules, (3) this Policy, (4) publisher/platform rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
3. CONTEST CONFIGURATION AND ACCEPTANCE
3.1 Contest-Specific Rules Shown at Acceptance
Prior to acceptance, Vamble will display the Contest’s essential parameters (which may include title/game, platform, mode, format, win conditions, time limits, anti-cheat requirements, region/server, scoring method, and Stake details). By accepting a Contest, each participant agrees to these parameters.
3.2 Required Settings and Eligibility
Participants must use required settings, formats, and any integrity controls (including anti-cheat where applicable) specified for that Contest.
3.3 No Side Agreements
Off-platform side agreements, match fixing, win-trading, boosting, or any “gentleman’s agreements” that alter the intended outcome or verification of a Contest are prohibited.
4. PLAYER READINESS, CHECK-IN, START, AND COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS
4.1 Player Readiness
It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure, before the Scheduled Start Time and throughout the Contest as reasonably required, that they have: (a) functional and compatible equipment (console/PC, peripherals, controller/keyboard/mouse), (b) adequate power supply and/or charged batteries, (c) a stable internet connection sufficient for gameplay, (d) required software, patches, and updates installed, and (e) the ability to access required accounts, permissions, and game services. Player Readiness issues are not, by themselves, a basis to avoid Forfeit or Abandonment, and are treated as within the participant’s control unless Vamble determines there was a Verified Technical Failure attributable to the Platform or game services rather than the Participant.
4.2 Timely Participation
Participants must appear and begin play within the Grace Period or as otherwise within the timeframes displayed in the Contest-specific rules.
4.3 Completion
Participants must complete the Contest in accordance with the applicable win conditions unless a Verified Technical Failure prevents completion.
5. EVIDENCE, RECORDING, AND MATCH INTEGRITY
5.1 Mandatory Monitoring
Vamble may collect and use Gameplay Data for verification and integrity as described in the Terms and Privacy Policy.
5.2 User Evidence Responsibility
Users are strongly encouraged to maintain their own independent evidence for any Contest that could reasonably be disputed, including continuous screen recording where available.
5.3 Minimum Evidence Requirements
When evidence is required, it must meet Vamble’s minimum requirements, which may include:
- clear and legible media;
- sufficient context to verify the claim (not just a cropped highlight);
- visible usernames and/or match identifiers where applicable;
- timestamps or metadata where available;
- original, unedited files when requested; and
- continuity sufficient to rule out selective editing or misrepresentation.
5.4 Prohibited Evidence Practices
Altered, manipulated, selectively edited, cropped-to-mislead, or otherwise non-verifiable evidence may be rejected and may result in enforcement action.
6. DISCONNECTS, QUITTING, AND ABANDONMENT
6.1 No Strategic Disconnects
Intentionally disconnecting, quitting, or otherwise stopping participation to avoid a loss, manipulate Settlement, preserve Promotional Credits, or force a Void is prohibited.
6.2 Abandoned After Start; No-Show Handled Separately
A Contest may be deemed Abandoned only after it is Started if a participant quits, intentionally disconnects, repeatedly disconnects, goes inactive, refuses to continue, or otherwise fails to resume within required timeframes such that the Contest cannot reasonably proceed. Unless Vamble determines a Verified Technical Failure (as defined in the Terms) prevented completion and is not attributable to either participant’s conduct, an Abandoned Contest will be treated as a Forfeit by the abandoning participant and settled as a loss for that participant.
Failures to appear or timely join before the Contest is Started are handled as No-Show / Loss by Forfeit (No-Show) under the Terms and applicable Contest-specific rules.
6.3 Resume Windows
Where applicable, Vamble may impose resume windows (time to reconnect/rejoin) as specified in Contest-specific rules.
7. CHEATING, COLLUSION, AND UNAUTHORIZED TOOLS
The following are prohibited and may result in forfeiture, reversal, suspension, or permanent bans: cheating, collusion, win-trading, boosting, sandbagging, match fixing, use of unauthorized third-party software/tools, automation/bots without written authorization, account sharing, playing on behalf of others, and exploitation of bugs or vulnerabilities.
8. TECHNICAL FAILURES, TIES, & VOIDS
8.1 Verified Technical Failure Standard
Vamble may Void or cancel a Contest only where Vamble determines that a Verified Technical Failure or other operational issue prevented fair completion and is not attributable to either participant’s conduct.
8.2 Tie/Draw Outcome
Where a game ruleset recognizes a draw/tie outcome, Vamble will apply the Tie treatment set forth in Section II. 8.6 (Tie Treatment; No Incentives Accrual; Fees), unless Contest-specific rules accepted at the time of acceptance state a tiebreaker or rematch procedure.
8.3 No Void for Voluntary Exits
Voids are not available as a remedy for voluntary exits, intentional disconnects, or attempts to avoid a likely loss.
8.4 Outcome Determination
If a Contest outcome cannot be verified due to Verified Technical Failure, Settlement treatment is governed by the Terms, Wallet & Funds Terms, Incentives Terms, and Dispute Resolution Policy.
9. ENFORCEMENT AND SANCTIONS
Vamble may take enforcement action for violations of this Policy or Contest-specific rules, including: denial of disputes, refusal of re-credits, application of Holds, forfeiture, reversal of Settlement Entries, restriction of features, suspension, termination, and reporting to payment processors or authorities where required or permitted by law.
9.1 Repeat Disruption and Scheduling Abuse
Vamble may track patterns of repeated cancellations, reschedules, No-Shows, forfeits, abandonments, and Unauthorized Pauses.
If repeated disruptions are User-Attributable or indicate abuse, including to avoid a likely loss or preserve Promotional Credits, Vamble may impose escalating actions, including, but not limited to:
- automatic assignment of Loss by Forfeit for subsequent failures to appear/resume;
- temporary restrictions on initiating or accepting Contests;
- reduced or zero Play-Through Credit Rate for affected activity;
- removal of eligibility for certain Promotions or Entry-tier Incentives;
- Holds, manual review requirements, or mandatory evidence requirements;
- suspension or termination for repeated abuse.
Repeated issues caused by Permitted Void Conditions (Platform-side/game-service failures not attributable to either participant) will not, by themselves, be treated as misconduct, but Vamble may Void, reschedule, or restart as necessary to preserve Contest integrity.
10. UPDATES
Vamble may update this Policy prospectively for legal, operational, integrity, or risk reasons. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
